We would like to encourage youth to attend
the meetings and become leaders!
The HIV Youth Leadership Council educates and empowers youth (ages 13 to 24) in our community and motivates them to become advocates for HIV/STD prevention and awareness.
What We Do:
- We are a group of youth and youth service providers who give San Diego youth the opportunity to participate in the design, implementation, and execution of youth focused activities and services.
- We advocate for the delivery of HIV education, testing, and services that are youth sensitive.
- We assure that HIV positive youth in San Diego have access to appropriate, comprehensive, and coordinated medical and supportive services.
